YVETTE LONG APD
Accredited Practising Dietitian & Psychology Graduate
Yvette is a dietitian with a keen interest in health psychology and the complex brain-gut relationship. In addition to her Master of Nutrition and Dietetics, Yvette has an undergraduate qualification in psychology and is a strong supporter in the role diet can play in prevention and treatment for some mental health disorders.
Yvette has a keen interest in managing food intolerances and allergies. This is led by her own personal experience in managing them for herself, after being diagnosed at age 7 with a nut allergy and later on a seafood intolerance, she has spent her life reading food labels and learning how to not let her allergies impact how she lives her life.
In addition to private practice, Yvette works in public health nutrition for the Australian Government. When she’s not at work, Yvette loves to bake, discover new recipes and exploring the walking tracks around Canberra. She looks forward to working with you on all general health conditions.
